Trust "Le Mutant" 1970 France Prog Pop Rock

Trust  "Le Mutant" 1970 France Prog Pop Rock
French pop-rock group ala Dynasty Crisis feat. Alain Markusfeld, Jean Schulteis and Jacky Chalard. Excellent fuzz parts, wonderfull vocals, complex compositions and overall a very entertaining album , lacking though the complexity of Alain Markusfeld’s solo recordings. …………..
It is not the French hard rock band of the same name created in 1977.
Excellent French rock album, with a slightly British feel, like the Moody Blues (sung in French).
Similar to Dynasty Crisis, M.O.T.U.S and Alain Markusfeld …
Beautiful voices, complex compositions, a very entertaining album but
Which does not have the complexity of the solo recordings of Alain Markusfeld …
The music and lyrics are by Jean Schultheis, the former bassist of
Dynasty Crisis, Jacky Chalard plays on this album………………..
“Le Mutant” is basically a French pop rock album, with a distinct British proto-prog feel where The Beatles have to be considered an obvious influence here, despite it all being sung in French. Similar to countrymen Iris and M.O.T.U.S. in that same way. Not as adventurous as the first two albums from Alain Markusfeld, for example. Speaking of which, it is rumored that both Markusfeld (guitar) and Jacky Chalard (bass) play on this (though uncredited). Non-essential fluff for the most part, but a good one to hear for specialists. This Trust is not related to the French hard rock group of the same name that later supplied Iron Maiden with its drummers……………

Bass [Uncredited] – Jacky Chalard
