A Chave “De Ponta Cabeça” 1977 Brazil Hard Rock

A Chave “De Ponta Cabeça”  1977 Brazil Hard Rock
full

A Chave was the forerunner of the rock group Parana, and served from 1969 to May 1979, when it was dissolved. Throughout his career, became the most important rock band of Curitiba and still revered today. The Key opened in the 70's all the doors and showed the ropes to the hundreds of bands that emerged in the city after its dissolution. When the band broke up, despite having more than 100 original songs - a good deal with the well-known poet and lyricist Paul Leminski - has left no record in LP, having just released by GTA Recordings Associated Tupi a rare single compact (1977), containing the songs and Hole in The Heart Cause Me to See, both in partnership with the Lemisnki. He played with grocers, Rita Lee & Tutti Frutti, Mutantes, O Terço, Made In Brazil, Casa das Máquinas, Joelho de Porco, Som Nosso de Cada Dia, Bixo da Seda and came to an open show of Bill Haley And his Comets, in Guaira (1975).

In mid-July 2004, four members of the defunct band The Key Curitiba - Ivo Rodrigues (vocals), Paulo Teixeira (guitar, vocals), Carlão Gaertner (bass) and Orlando Azevedo (drums) were caught by surprise with the discovery of a pirated CD of the group. The disc was found in a fair old record collectors in Sao Paulo, the owners of the store Vinyl Club in Curitiba, which gave away a copy of the singer Ivo, who currently plays in the band Shield, along with Paulo Teixeira. With the operational support of Marcia Teixeira - wife of guitarist Paul decided to pirate bootleg (10 live songs and two bonus tracks of the compact) and play a limited run in the same format and layout, this edition was soon exhausted and the next too. The most curious thing about this whole story is that the band has their own pirated bootleg - without knowing the author of piracy - generating a new and hilarious as the Brazilian phonographic market. The fact is that 33 years later, A Chave hacked your own pirate. Groundbreaking case. Not Dylan, with all his bootlegs had thought of that, he chose to release them officially...............

Throughout his career, he became the most important rock band in Curitiba and continues to worship until today. The Key opened in the 70's all the doors and showed the way of the stones to the hundreds of bands that appeared in the city after its dissolution. When the band finished, despite having more than 100 songs of its own - a good part of which was the well-known poet Paulo Leminski - it did not leave any record in LP, having only released by the label GTA Recordings Tupi Associates a rare simple compact (1977) Containing the songs Buraco No Coração and Me Provoque Pra Ver, both in partnership with Lemisnki. He played next to Dry and Wet, Rita Lee & Tutti Frutti, Mutantes, O Rosário, Made In Brazil, Machine House, Pork Knee, Our Own Sound Every Day, Bixo da Seda and came to open a concert of Bill Haley And His Comets, in Guairão (1975).

The album was found at an old collectors' fair in São Paulo by the owners of the Vinyl Club store in Curitiba, who gave a gift to the singer Ivo, who currently plays in the band Blindagem, along with Paulo Teixeira. With the operational support of Márcia Teixeira - the wife of guitarist Paulo, they decided to pirate the pirate disc (10 live songs and two bonus tracks of the compact) and reproduced a limited edition with the same format and layout, this circulation soon ran out and the next one too .
