Recorded record already in the early 70’s, when his rock was getting purer and consistent. This is one of his best works. Some of the tracks on the album are well known, but Eduardo Araújo gave them a new interpretation, mixing Rock and Soul Music, with a spectacular sound. 

Eduardo Araujo in full form, Ave Maria do Morro in my opinion is one of the best of the album. The music At Rancho Fundo e Carinhoso in a unique interpretation, excellent to hear, great lyrics, one of the most beautiful songs of João de Barro. And to finish Asa Branca do Gonzagão……………… 

We have here and once again beating the rocker who turned ‘cowboy’, Eduardo Araújo. When we talk about this artist, we almost always remember his two extremes, the beginning in the Young Guard and the current times where he insists on this wave of country music. Personally, if I had to choose, I’d rather be naive in the Calhanbeque class. However, the stage I like the most is that of the 70’s, or rather, the one where he is already matured in rock. This album of 71 is, for me, one of his best works. It is from the period where the national rock had the best crop. A moment where everything that was produced, today has become rare, much sought after and difficult to find. In this album, Eduardo Araújo is pure rock. For those who do not know the album, you might even think that I’m wrong, considering the repertoire is full of classics by Ary Barroso, Pixinguinha, Braguinha, Taiguara, Herivelto, Luiz Gonzaga and Humberto Teixeira. But here the guy gave these songs a new look, mixing rock and black music, creating a very own sound. As in the case of the Tropical Serenade Orchestra, some arrangements and interpretations may make purists twist their noses, but unlike the disco line, the rock versions are closer to acceptable. Obviously, I’m not getting into the merits of Waltel White’s arrangements for the previous album. But here, on the 'cowboy’ album, that is, the rocker also has batons. The album is produced by Milton Miranda, the musical direction is by Gaya and the orchestration and conducting by Kuntz Naegele. Among so many classics that have become 'crásicos’ I would still highlight the album "Salve, salve brasileiro”, of the songs, she is the best. Check out the touch ……… 

Eduardo Oliveira Araújo (Joaíma, July 23, 1942) is a Brazilian singer who joined the Jovem Guarda (although he never participated in the Record Network program). More had his and broke out with O bom, a song recorded in 1966 / 67.viuvo da Singer Silvinha 
Born in the interior of Minas Gerais, in the city of Joaíma, Eduardo is the son of the farmer Colonel Lídio Araújo. In childhood, his idols were Luiz Gonzaga and Pedro Raimundo, in his youth Eduardo was influenced by Rock and Roll (mainly Gene Vincent) and 1958 participates of the band “The Playboys” and in 1960 it appeared in the radio program of Aldair Pinto. 
Already in the capital of Minas Gerais he began to sing and to perform publicly. In 1960 he appeared in the radio program of Aldair Pinto. In the same year, he moved to Rio de Janeiro to study veterinary medicine, a career he abandoned to dedicate himself to music. The following year, he appeared in several television programs, among them Jair Taumaturgo, “Today is day of rock”, and the one of Carlos Imperial, “The shoots command”. In the same year he recorded for Philips the rock ballad “Diana left me”, by Alfredo Max and Fernando Costa and the rock “Deixa o rock”, of his own. Soon after, he recorded for the same label “Twist do brotinho”, by Carlos Imperial and “Rock cha cha cha” by Carlos Imperial. At that time he joined the Rock Club, along with Roberto Carlos, Erasmo Carlos, Tim Maia, Renato and their Blue Caps and others. Discouraged by the little repercussion of his records, he returned to Minas Gerais. 
Only in 1966 he returned to Rio de Janeiro, enthusiastic about the growing success of the Young Guard. It obtained its first success, “the good one”, music of its own that launched that year in LP namesake that would include “Goiabão”, in partnership with Carlos Imperial, with whom, incidentally, would make another great success, “It can come hot that I am boiling”. At that time, he was invited by TV Excelsior, a broadcaster from São Paulo, to make a rock show, along the lines of what was done by Jovem Guarda, called “O bom”, which featured singer Silvinha with whom he would later marry 1969. That same year he was invited to perform in several TV Record programs, also in São Paulo. 
Despite the decline of the Young Guard, throughout the 1970s it remained active, releasing several albums by the RCA label. In 1975 he recorded the LP “Pelos do rocha do rocha”, in which he performed the songs “Construção” and “Deus le pague”, by Chico Buarque. In the late 1970s he decided to abandon his artistic career and sold all his equipment, including a recording studio. In the 1980s, he started to get interested in the country and decided to record again. 
In 1988 he released the LP “A man called a horse”, produced by Renato Teixeira and released by RGE, in which he recorded, among other compositions, “Boi Barnabé” by Victor Simão and Bob Nelson, “Coração de mour”, Teixeirinha, “To know”, by Roberta Miranda and “The sound of the truck driver” by Renato Teixeira. He added rock elements to the sertanejos, going on to do what is conventionally called “country rock”. In 1990, she released the LP “Pé na estrada”, recorded independently, in which she recorded her own “Pé na estrada” and “Green signal”, as well as the re-recording of “Ave Maria no morro” by Herivelto Martins. The album featured the special guest appearances of Gaucho singer Rui Biriva and singer Nalva Aguiar. At the same time, he presented the “Foot on the Road” program at the SBT Network. He also presented the program “Rural Brazil” by Rede Bandeirantes. In 1997 he released the CD “Guaraná Powder”, recorded in New Jersey in the United States, with the participation of rock band Dr. Sin. Of the CD there are 13 compositions, all in partnership with the band Dr. Sin, among which “Saudade”, “Meu caballo” and “O carona”. 
In 2005, he released the CD Eduardo Araújo, in which he demonstrates his creative vigor, focused on the country universe. The track “Bandido”, of his own. That same year, he participated in several radio and TV programs, in addition to the 40th Young Girl’s commemorative shows, among them, in the Raul Gil program, in a special edition of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Young Guard, which brought together various exponents of the movement Silvinha, Wanderley Cardoso, The Fevers and Waldirene, among others…….. 

Eduardo Oliveira Araújo was born in Joaíma, Minas Gerais on July 23, 1942, he joined Jovem Guarda and achieved a great success with the song O Bom, a song recorded in 1967.

Eduardo signs contract with TV Excelsior to present the program “The Good” next to Sylvinha (with whom he would marry in 1969). 
In 1968, it records the album of Soul Music “The Wave is Boogaloo”, album produced by Tim Maia. 
With the end of the Young Guard, Eduardo records records influenced by psychedelic and progressive rock. At that time he recreates songs by Brazilian composers like Chico Buarque, Ary Barroso and Luiz Gonzaga. 
After spending five years away from his musical career, Eduardo composes a song in honor of the horse Mangalarga Marchador and records an album with influences from country music and country rock. 
In the 90’s, it retains the style of the previous decade. It presents two television programs “Pena na estrada” (shown by SBT) and “Brasil Rural” (shown by TV Bandeirantes). 
In 1997 he recorded the album “Pó de Guaraná” in New Jersey. The album counts with the participation of the brazilian band Dr. Sin…………
