The new album by Nexus (On Top of Uranos Tops), released on April 4, is an extraordinary instrumental album of classic progressive rock, from the old symphonic school. As a result of this has had a resounding success, since it has been exhausted the first round of the vinyl edition, a few days to go out. There is also an edition in cd, with three bonus tracks, edited by Record Runner, and distributed in Argentina by Melopea Discos.
Nexus is an Argentine progressive rock group, formed in the middle of the 70's in Morón, in the West of Greater Buenos Aires, and since the late nineties has developed a discography sustained and consistent with the classic progressive rock, with influences that They range from Emerson, Lake & Palmer to the remembered Argentine group Crucis , all nuanced in concept albums that convey a profound message that points to the holistic knowledge of human experience, mind, learning and improvement. Now, in this 2017, with more than four decades to begin to play, Nexus goes ahead with its original three original members - Luis Nakamura (drums), Lalo Huber ( keyboards ) and Carlos Lucena (guitars) - alongside bassist Jorge Mariño Martínez . These are the musicians who carried out the recording of this group's eighth album (the first one released on vinyl). A Progressive Rock production with capital letters, without additions or superfluous electronic fusions, of one who does not need children's labels like "true" or "traditional", much less choruses of eunuchs eunuchs or neurasthenic singers ... Progressive Rock really, that since Beginning of the seventies until the middle of that decade had its maximum splendor, marking the pulse of rock conceived as art worldwide.
