T. L. Wahl “A Face In The Crowd” 1979 US Private Prog Psych Folk Rock

T. L. Wahl “A Face In The Crowd” 1979 US Private Prog Psych Folk Rock
Very rare local IL private press progressive folk-psych. Hippie guitar based rock fusion with some synth. We had another of this title that was open and had gray splash colored vinyl so we are assuming this to be the same, although can not guarantee the color of the vinyl. Marker and sticker are on the outside of the shrinkwrap. .........

Grey splatter vinyl local real people late night soft rock record from 1979 on the GDS label (same as Claw, Young Bros.) by this eccentric amateur porn/swinger type from central Illinois. Has it's moments, most notably on the harder Way Past Thirty track and some of the more mellow stuff. ............

Here is, as we see, a fairly versatile and handsome, but unknown guy named Wahl, from central Illinois, has somehow assembled a team some of whose participants are very interesting personalities. So, no less versatile Chris Curtis, and in fact Christopher Crummy (26.08.1941-28.02.2005) is none other than a British drummer, vocalist and songwriter, who began to create rock and roll in the Liverpool band The Searchers since 1962 Th to 1966 year. Next, he and his brother Dave created a band called Roundabout, which also included guitarist Richie Blackmore and keyboard player Jon Lord, and this group later became the world famous Deep Purple, though by that time Dave Crummy had already left the band.
Bassist John Reid (real name - John C. Reid) later became a sought-after producer of dance electronics, a recording engineer and co-author of such a pillar of British DJ and hit production as Norman Quentin Cook. For Scottish house project Nightcrawlers, created already today, he is the main person and the top producer, as well as an unchanging songwriter for artists such as Tina Turner, Westlife, Kelly Clarkson, Rod Stewart, etc. And in the music industry in the genres of pop, rock and country, John Reid is best known as the ex-manager of other world figures - the band Queen and pop idol Elton John, and he himself once was a member of the respective teams Pizzaman and Play Boys.
So here is the way T.L. Wahl and the company have built a local scale single vinyl record soft rock, released on the local small label "GDS Records"...............
