Liquid Sound Company ‎"Exploring The Psychedelic" 1996 US Psych Acid Rock Rockadelic Records

Recorded February 1996 at Hai-Tex Studios, Dallas, Texas.

'Exploring The Psychedelic' is this Texas trio's first of two CD's. If you dig spaced out psychedelia, you'll love this release. Tracks here that had me playing this disc several times (after I haven't heard it in awhile) were the mind-scrambling opener "A Splash Of Color", the eleven minute sonic journey (sort to speak) "Mesmerizing Eye", "Let The Incense Drift" (love that way-out wah-wah guitar work) and the ten minute heavy rocker "Sadhana Siddhi". Line-up: John Perez - guitar, mellotron, woodwind & vocals, Terry Pritchard - bass & percussion and Jason Spradlin - drums. Should appeal to fans of Tone Float, Guru Guru, Harmonia and maybe Yatha Sidhra. Believe that an import label - Nasoni Records has more recently put this title out on vinyl. A true keeper...ByMike Reed..~

A BRILLIANT ALBUM - pop on the earphones, raise the volume, chill on a soft pillow and light up some candles in the dark and you are in for one trippy ride.
Mellow and intense in various parts, but overall, I found this enjoyable and I listen to it at least once a year considering that I have so many other discs to listen to...ByJOHN L. KOWAL..~

Reissue of 300 copies on splatter vinyl. Originally released in 1996 by Rockadelic Records, this album can be regarded as a milestone of 1990s psychedelia. It offers a mindblowing mixture of psych, space rock, West Coast sounds, Middle Eastern scales, spaced lyrics and cosmic vibes...~

Liquid Sound Company is lead by John Perez of the DOOM metal band, Solitude Aeternus. The LP also features the amazing Solitude vocals as well. It is a classic record with eastern influences and a great psychedelic feeling and mix. This is a serious slab of take-no-prisoners spaced out, fuzz laden mindfucked psychedelia. Fantastic. On their 2nd release,Inside the Acid Temple, if i'm not wrong a Vas Deference Org/Muz member is involved too(Eric should know better)..~

This was originally released in 1997 but is long out of print. This amazing psychedelic rock record is now reissued in a fantastic gatefold 180 gram vinyl limited edition. Liquid Sound Company is lead by John Perez of the DOOM metal band, Solitude Aeternus. The LP also features the amazing Solitude vocals as well.
