Recorded in 1969 but never produced, this album was released only posthumously in 1994, after 25 years of waiting ... the disc is limited edition of 500 copies numbered and autographed by the artist and has not had any promotion and distribution ... Was sold or traded privately in the disk markets and among enthusiasts ... there is no CD version. ..... the genre, almost instrumental, is placed in mystic psychedelia, with wide use of sitar and other superimposed instruments masterfully played by the young Roman artist ... unique in its kind, since at that time in Italy There were very few solo artists who proposed psychedelic pop .......

RUMI is a roman guitarist who since the age of 16 began to move his first steps in the nascent psychedelic movement. The album collects some compositions that date back to those early years (1968/69) of ingenuous and passionate apprenticeships. These are 13 songs in which we can hear the first steps of a short career that will lead him, in later years, to America, and then to the engraving of a self-produced LP ("Tabriz sun") and two tapes. The psychedelic proposed by RUMI does not have the blazing pirotechnics of Pink Floyd of that period, but has very relaxing rhythms, with vaguely oriental atmospheres, with extensive use of effects. Promotional print of 500 autographed copies......

I open the dances of a friendly tournament between blog contributors. In fact, Franco, Rattus & Roby, in the next few days, will turn round in the unknown (Fabio68 trademark) stranger of the Italian undergrowth psyc prog avang and collateral, looking for the most forgotten and missing rarities of chicchesia, perhaps even from the same sacred sites We all know each other. And we start with a beautiful album born in 1969 but never released until 1994, when it was printed on vinyl in superlimited edition of 500 numbered copies (now of course untraceable). And it is a disk that really leaves open. It is hard to believe that such music has been conceived in Italy pre seventies, so far away from the beat style of which the peninsula was still completely smeared. A work of pure psychedelia, seasoned with various sound effects, lysergic choruses, sitar sound, percussion, in addition to other traditional instruments. There is little news traceable on the web on this album, but as a result of an e-bay insertion, which is more than copied and clenched, this little hallucinogenic miracle should be the fruit of the work of a single man, perhaps Rumi, who played , Singing and engraving (that is, overlaid countless times) all alone ... Miracles or legends of Italian psychedelia. Still a very nice album I would recommend to everyone and, sorry for the doubt, if it really is in 1969, really in the avant-garde .
From E-bay: "It was burned in 1969 but never produced, this album came out only posthumously in 1994, after 25 years of waiting ... the disc is limited edition of 500 copies numbered and autographed by the artist and had no Promotion and distribution ... was sold (or traded) privately in the disk markets and among fans ... there is no CD version ..... the genre, almost entirely instrumental, is placed in mystic psychedelia. .. a pleasant sound rich in psychedelic effects obtained with wide use of sitar and other superimposed instruments masterfully played by the young roman artist ... I think it is unique, since at that time there were very few artists in Italy They proposed psychedelic pop ... "...verso la stratosphera............
