This superhero heavy rock is like Dwarr in a righteous mood, or at least preoccupied by rock & roll and outer space. The Randy Holden comparison (Population II) makes sense, though this is less sludgy with no trace of blues. I feel like they’re working out something gigantic, galactic and epic rather than noodling around. Could be wrong, but I could be right? Heavy & hard but not macho, camacho. The first, last, and greatest starfighter(s)!…by…mistermaldy …~

I actually tracked this guy down and he was a poster boy for paranoia. The Mel Gibson movie “Conspiracy Theory” could have been written about him. He was a nice enough guy though and we talked for about an hour. He is blind and was almost totally blind when he made this record. He also tuned his guitar from a 6-string to a 5-string hoping that gimmick would land him a recording deal. He said he pressed up 200 copies and just handed them out to radio stations and anyone else that would take a copy. To me it sound like an 80’s poor boy doing Randy Holden. Just heavy guitar licks. The LP is short but I like it. It’s better than alot of the hype crap that began turning up in the late 90’s like Stagefright (had a copy in the 90’s and couldn’t get $25 for it) etc….by….baddawgz ….~
