Peter had naturally created a new band, which he called Paradise, and immediately became popular. He commanded Geira to bring in the battle we used. Soon we began to work on original material and then went to England to pick up. There were some nice hits, like Rabbits, which were just quite popular and still live a good life. But there were also some balloons that could have been omitted. After a few months, Geiri and Peter Hjaltested split themselves from the band and joined the band Eik. I really understood that they wanted to do something more seriously - Paradise was, of course, nothing but a bulletproof band. We tried to get new men instead, but never went up.
It is now that people match up well in such a job and do not always need a soup band. Sometimes something happens to a certain group of people who are difficult to explain - there is some magic. Nature had this magic all the time, always providing great players in the band. However, people are uniquely good at working together. When people come together, Joa G, Áskel, Sigga Árna, Shady, Óla Garðars - and me - can expect people to play well. But the cooperation was not always easy. She could be decorative. Actually like Sweden at a glance. If there was a problem, then it had to be created…~

Story

Paradis was one of the peoples that Peter W. Kristjánsson set up and was almost on his shoulders, which was the centerpiece of dramatic drama that took place in the Icelandic pop-up story in the mid-eighties of the late century.
Paradiso’s prediction was that Peter had been in the band Pelican, but that country had fought outside the landmarks, and had really worked for a time when Peter unexpectedly dropped it out. Peter himself had established the Pelican, been her brain and face, but when foreign agents and defenders of the American publishing company made other members of the band aware that Peter was her dragon, she was not a good singer, they robbed him. It was in mid-May 1975.
Peter did not give up and founded when a new team of what many want to mean, to Pelican’s head, but it was probably never his intention to knock that country rather than prove to himself and others that he could sing. In the new band, in addition to Peter they were Gunnar Hermannsson bass player, Ragnar Sigurðsson guitarist, Ólafur Júlíusson Kolbein drummer and Peter’s nickname Peter, “kaften” Kristjánsson keyboardist.
The new name was named Paradis, and it was first published on June 20, 1975, just a month after Peter was fired from the Pelican.
What the Pelican team did not realize was that Peter had as the frontman of the team been the reason for her popularity, and when he was on her way, her popularity collapsed in a short period of time, in fact, she never left her barr and then eventually left some unsuccessful attempts at restoration of popularity.
Paradise, however, went all the way from the very first day, and of course, Peter’s personal privilege did not appreciate it. The country immediately hit the countryside during the summer where Peter booked the country, but he also handled the agent of Pelicans.
Just about three weeks after Paradise first appeared, her members went to Soundrita in Hafnarfjordur and recorded two songs, Just half of you after Peter’s keyboard player and a foreign song, Superman.
When the singles came out late, she broke through and strengthened the status of Paradise as the main ball summer, the newspaper, Morgunblaðið, Þjóvvíkan, and The Times were quite well-behaved and gave her good reviews. The two songs also appeared on the Peanuts collection plate this summer.
Much scattered during the days of Paradise this summer, among other things, she played at Kjarvalsstaðir first puppetry, while the painter Tarnús (Grétar Magnús Guðmundsson) painted paintings while the country was playing. Also, Paradis stood for a concert in Akureyri so more examples are mentioned.
Another keyboardist, Pétur Hjaltested, joined the country by the band, who had played as a guest on the small screen. The stars in Paradise had thus become three.
The small plate was sold soon and a second edition was ordered, when it had been sold, it had sold about four thousand copies and men thought big. Ámundur Ámundason was appointed agent of the band, and the companions went to Britain this fall and invested in lighting equipment and other gadgets to make the bells and concerts of the country as the most important.
By the end of 1975, they began to change humanity, which then became the hallmarks of Paradise. It has already been said that Peter Hjaltested joined the country, but a disagreement between him and Ragnar’s guitarist meant that the latter ended up with him, Olafur drummer. Instead, the former Pelican teams came (but the country was nowhere in sight). Ásgeir Óskarsson drummer and Björgvin Gíslason guitarist
The pop-up of the media for 1975 was largely the same way. Pétur singer was the best pop star of the year at Dagblaðið and also Vísi, but Paradis was also the best-performing country of the year with Vísi and the most popular country of the year in the Vikunnar settlement. The country was by far the most popular in 1975 .
Paradise was now composed of several multifaceted teams, and album preparation was started. Peter “The Cafeteria” keyboardist actually stopped in the spring of 1976, and took the fighter Nikulás Róbertsson to his seat, it did not change plans for album release, and shortly afterwards, Paradisar went to Bournemouth in England to record ten albums of Paradise under control Jonathan Rowlands. The job title of the album was Tarzan and it was a long time for her title.
The album they released themselves and came out later in the 1976s under the PAR mark, actually like the little one, but there had not been a deal with the album versions Fálkann, Geimstein and Hljóma, who had all the hugs about the project.
Despite the popularity of Paradise, the album did not go well, she sold it rather badly, and the critics of the media were not as impressed as the single album, the album actually got good reviews in the newspaper, but hardly anything honorable in time, Jens Kr. Gudmundsson also gave her a relaxed review of her book. The song Rabbits enjoyed a lot of popularity and is today the best-known product of the band along with the songs Superman and Tarzan.
Shortly thereafter, Gunnar left bass player in Paradise, and thus, Peter’s singer was one of the original publishers of the band. Gunnar’s seat took Jóhann Þórisson.
At the beginning of the year, the band performed a great deal in the year’s record with Dagblaðið, ranked second in the bands of the year and the year’s series, as well as Ásgeir, the best drummer of the year, and Björgvin guitarist of the year.
And in 1977 started with a very powerful way, and then the band played with Einari Vilberg in the TV series Rokkveita ríkisins.
Major news, however, was received in February when Ásgeir drummer and Peter keyboardist stopped suddenly and joined Oak. Paradisar’s team responded quickly to Rúnar Thorisson, brother of Jóhann, as a guitarist. Björgvin guitarist then added the keyboard to him and was in the same position he had played in the Pelican. Two weeks passed before Ragnar Sigurjónsson trymbill entered the country, but his career with Paradise was very short, the following day he got back and stopped, still a few days and then heard that Hrólfur Gunnarsson had become a drummer of the country.
It was long before it became apparent that there was a danger and despite the fact that plans were to go to Denmark and the Faroe Islands for concerts, news in the media about Paradise’s death in mid-March came to light. Then thirteen people had gone through the country during the two years that the country worked. Peter W. Kristjánsson was the only one who was all the time in it.
However, Peter was not behind the daughter rather than the previous day and a few days before he founded along with more poker, Poker, the only one that started with Pi.
Paradise’s songs have been published on various collections throughout the time, including Back to the past 70-80 III (1990), Íslensk popp saga (1996), Skonrokk (2003), Such was 1975 (2008), 100 Icelandic 70’s (2009) and Óskalög 4 (2000), as well as some songs with the band can be heard on the collection album Algjör sjúkheit (2008), but it was published in memory of Peter W. Kristjánsson (1951-2004)…..by….Helgi J…..~
